Primary text

A narration from Ahmad indicates dislike for repeating the congregation in the Sacred Mosque of Mecca, the Prophet's Mosque, and Al-Aqsa Mosque. This is stated to prevent people from being remiss in attending the established Imam when they could pray in congregation with others. However, the apparent meaning of the narrations of Abu Sa'id and Abu Umamah suggests that it is not disliked, as the virtue of congregation is achieved there just as in other mosques.
