What is the ruling if the Adhan is pronounced while sitting without an excuse?

Pronouncing the Adhan while sitting without a valid excuse is disliked (*makruh*) by the scholars. However, the Adhan remains valid, as it is not considered as essential (*aaqad*) as the sermon (*khutbah*), which is valid when delivered while sitting.
