Primary text
A mosque constructed within a graveyard, positioned among the graves, retains the legal status of the graveyard itself. This is because its location does not remove it from being within the burial ground. Anas is reported to have expressed dislike for building a mosque in the middle of graves when he passed by a graveyard where construction was underway.
