Primary text

If one omits an essential element like bowing or rising from bowing due to forgetfulness, one must return to perform it whenever it is remembered, provided this occurs before starting the recitation of the next Rak'ah. Upon returning, one performs the missed element, followed by the subsequent elements, because any actions performed after the omission are disregarded due to the breach of sequence (Tartib).
