What is the ruling if one forgets the prostration of forgetfulness?

Chapter on the Two Prostrations of Forgetfulness

Primary text

If one forgets the prostration of forgetfulness required for a minor lapse (sahw khafif), there is hope that there is no consequence upon them. If the lapse was one for which the Prophet, peace be upon him, made prostration, Ahmad indicated that it is recommended to repeat the prayer if the prostration was forgotten.

Supporting text

A narration from Ahmad suggests that if the forgotten required prostration was related to a minor lapse, there might be no consequence, but if it related to a case where the Prophet made prostration, repeating the prayer is recommended. The ruling for intentional omission is more severe than for forgetfulness.
