What is the ruling on permissible travel if the intention changes to sin?
Chapter on the Traveler's Prayer
Al-Mughni
Book of Prayer
Primary text
If the initial travel was permissible and the traveler subsequently changes the intention for that travel to commit a sin, the allowance (for concessions like shortening prayer) is terminated because its prerequisite cause (permissible travel) has ceased. The ruling is derived from the cessation of the permissible intent supporting the travel.
