If the deviation from the Qiblah occurs while overpowered (Maghloob), sleeping, or mistakenly believing the current direction is the direction of travel, the prayer remains valid. The person must return to the direction of travel when the impediment ceases, as this resembles being unable to maintain the Qiblah.

If the impediment persists after its cause has ceased, the prayer is invalidated because maintaining the Qiblah was intentionally abandoned.
