Are the rulings regarding raising the hands the same for the Imam, follower, and individual worshipper, and for obligatory and supererogatory prayers?

The ruling regarding raising the hands is the same for the leader (*Imam*), the follower (*Ma'mum*), and the person praying alone (*Munfarid*). Likewise, the ruling applies equally to obligatory and supererogatory prayers because the reports concerning the raising of the hands make no distinction between these cases.
