Is the Sunnah prayer performed before Asr made up if missed?

The correct ruling is that the two rak'ahs preceding Asr are not made up if they are missed. This is based on the report from Aisha, where she stated that the Prophet (peace be upon him) prayed them, and when she asked him if he would make them up if they were missed, he replied, 'No.' This narration was reported by Ibn Al-Najjar in the fifth part of his Musnad.
