Primary text

Ahmad stated that only a man's semen is scraped, not a woman's, because the man's semen is thick, while the woman's is thin and does not retain substance upon drying sufficient for scraping to be effective. Thus, if the woman's semen is deemed impure, it must be washed wet or dry, like urine. If it is deemed pure, washing it is recommended, analogous to scraping the man's semen. However, regarding fundamental purity and impurity, they are the same, as both are semen, the beginning of human creation exiting a passage.
