Is there a legislated supplication recited before the Takbirat al-Ihram (opening takbir)?

It is not legislated to recite anything before the opening Takbir (Takbirat al-Ihram). This is because neither the Prophet, peace be upon him, nor his Companions transmitted any specific supplication to be recited before it. Furthermore, supplication is legislated to occur after the act of worship is completed, based on the Quranic command: "So when you have finished [your duty], then stand up [for worship]" (Quran 94:7) and "And to your Lord direct your attention" (Quran 94:8).
