The validity of Hadiths mentioning Qunut before Ruku.

The authentic basis for performing Qunut after Ruku is established through narrations from Abu Hurayrah and Anas, where it is reported that the Prophet (peace be upon him) performed Qunut after Ruku (Reported by Muslim). Conversely, the Hadith supporting Qunut before Ruku, such as that narrated from Ibn Mas'ud, is related through Aban bin Abi Ayyash, who is considered to be a narrator whose traditions are abandoned (matruk al-hadith). Similarly, the narration from Ubayy regarding Qunut before Ruku is also questioned, with some stating that the mention of Qunut therein is not sound.
