What is the ruling if the second claimant chooses to take only one-fourth instead of limiting to their original share?

Primary text
If the second claimant states, "I will take one-fourth," this is permissible, based on the same reasoning established for the previous scenario. Subsequently, if the third claimant arrives, they take half of one-sixth (which is one-third of what the second claimant holds). This amount is added to the second claimant's three-fourths share. If the total is ten units, they divide it so that each of the first and third claimants receives five units, and the second claimant retains two units, resulting in a valid division based on twelve units.
