Primary text
The testimony of the seller regarding a co-claimant's waiver after receiving the purchase price is accepted. If the testimony is offered before the seller receives the price, there are two views: one holds that it is accepted because the buyer and seller are equal in regard to the matter; the other holds that it is not accepted because the seller might intend to facilitate the recovery of the price or the buyer's inability to pay.
