Is the dyeing of grey hair with anything other than black recommended?

Dyeing grey hair with anything other than black is recommended. Ahmad reported joy upon seeing one whose hair was dyed. The command to change grey hair is established by the Prophet's Sunnah. Abu Bakr and Umar dyed their hair, as did the Muhajirun. The command from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, to dye the hair necessitates adherence; whoever does not follow the example of the Messenger of Allah is not following the religion in any way. Evidence is found in the narrations of Abu Dharr, Abu Hurayrah, Abu Ramthah, and Umm Salamah.
