Primary text

If the excuse for which the Khuff was worn is removed (e.g., the woman with Istiḥāḍah becomes clean, or the incontinent person is cured) and they become capable as described in their respective rulings, they are not permitted to perform subsequent Wudu' (ablution) via wiping over the Khuff. This is analogous to a situation where a person performs Tayammum due to lacking water but then finds water; they cannot subsequently perform wiping over leather footwear that was worn over the state of Tayammum.
