Primary text

Horns that fall off naturally from a wild goat (*wa'l*) while it is alive are deemed pure. This is because they are considered pure matter inherently connected to the body, and their detachment does not cause the animal's death or remove life from the piece itself. Therefore, it does not become impure upon separation, similar to hair. The ruling about what is cut from a living animal applies to parts where cutting causes death and separation from life, which is not the case here.
