Primary text
If the object being washed is a body whose parts allow impurity to enter (absorbent), lifting it from the water does not count as a washing unless it is wrung out afterwards. Wringing must be done according to the nature of the object; if it is a heavy rug or mat, it is cleaned by turning it over and beating it.
