Is intention required for touching the male organ to nullify Wudu?

According to one narration from Ahmad, Wudu is nullified only if the touching of the male organ is done intentionally (qasdan). This opinion is attributed to Makhul, Tawus, Sa'id ibn Jubayr, and Humayd al-Tawil. They reason that mere touching, without intent, should not nullify Wudu, similar to touching a woman.

The ruling that there is no difference between intentional and unintentional touching, thus nullifying Wudu in both cases, is held by Al-Awza'i, Al-Shafi'i, Ishaq, Abu Ayyub, and Abu Khaythama, based on the general wording of the Hadith.
