Is it permissible to offer greetings (Taslim) inside the bathhouse?

Offering greetings (Taslim) inside the bathhouse is permissible. Imam Ahmad stated that he has not heard any specific ruling concerning it. The preferred position is to permit it, as it falls under the general command of the Prophet, peace be upon him, to spread greetings among yourselves ("Afishu as-salam baynakum").
