Is it permissible for a woman experiencing Istihada (abnormal vaginal bleeding) to combine prayers with a single ablution (wudu)?

It is permissible for a woman experiencing Istihada to combine between the prayers using one ablution. This ruling is established because the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, commanded Humnah bint Jahsh to combine the two prayers with a single ghusl (ritual bath), and he commanded the same to Sahlah bint Suhayl. Those with valid excuses other than Istihada are analogized and joined with this ruling.
