Is it recommended for a Muslim to perform Ghusl (ritual bath) with water and Sidr (jujube leaves)?

It is recommended that a Muslim performs Ghusl using water mixed with Sidr, based on the Hadith narrated by Qais. Furthermore, removing unwanted hair is also recommended. This is supported by the Prophet's command to a newly converted man to shave his head, and another command to a companion to remove the hair of disbelief and be circumcised. The least degree of obligation for such a command is recommendation (Istihbab).
