Is it valid if another person performs Tayammum for the obligated person?

It is permissible if another person performs Tayammum for the obligated person, similar to when another person performs Wudu for him. The intention (Niyyah) is considered binding upon the person performing Tayammum, not upon the person for whom it is performed, because the validity and prohibition of the act relate to the latter.
