In what order should a man perform Istinja (cleaning after relieving oneself)?

A man must begin the purification process (Istinja) with the anterior private part (qubl) before moving to the posterior part (dubar). This sequence prevents the hand from becoming soiled when subsequently cleaning the posterior, as the anterior part is more exposed and the hand might touch it when reaching for the posterior area.
