Do other parts of the camel (besides meat and milk) invalidate ablution?
Chapter on What Nullifies Purification
Al-Mughni
Book of Purification
Primary text
Regarding the other parts of the camel, such as the liver, spleen, hump, fat, broth, stomach, and intestines, there are two views. The first view asserts that these parts do not invalidate ablution because the explicit texts (nass) did not cover them.
Supporting text
The second view asserts that they do invalidate ablution because they are considered part of the entire camel carcass ('al-Jazur). The term 'meat' used generally for an animal is understood to refer to the whole animal because it constitutes the largest part. This is analogous to the ruling on the prohibition of pork, which encompasses the entire animal.
