Is passing wind (burping/flatulence) subject to ritual purification (Wudu)?
Chapter on What Nullifies Purification

Book of Purification
Primary text
There is no ritual impurity requiring Wudu stemming from passing wind (Jussha' or burp). This is not a point of contention. This ruling applies whether the emission is significant or minor. Furthermore, nasal mucus or phlegm (Nukhaamah), whether originating from the head or chest, does not invalidate Wudu because it is considered pure, similar in ruling to saliva.
