Is prayer valid in a woman's garment while she is menstruating?

Prayer is valid in a woman's garment that she uses during her menses, provided the contact of impurity is not confirmed. This is because the default state is purity. Caution regarding this matter is preferred because contact with impurity remains a possibility. Evidence is found in the narration of Abu Dawud from Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, stating that the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, did not pray in their hair or their coverings.
