What is recommended after completing ablution?

It is recommended that upon finishing ablution, one raises their gaze to the sky and recites the prescribed supplication. According to the narration from Umar bin Al-Khattab, the Prophet, peace be upon him, said: 'None of you performs ablution, perfects the ablution, and then says: I testify that there is no god but Allah, and that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger, except that the eight gates of Paradise will be opened for him, and he may enter through whichever one he wishes.' Another narration includes the phrase: 'O Allah, make me one of those who constantly repent, and make me one of those who purify themselves.'
