What is the recommended practice after urination?

It is recommended to wait briefly after urination, place the hand under the testicles at the base of the male organ, and then gently draw (aslat) the member three times towards the tip. Imam Ahmad stated that after ablution, one should draw out any residual urine until it ceases, and not to worry or dwell on doubts regarding it.

The practice of drawing out the urine three times is supported by a narration from the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) transmitted by Yizdad al-Yamani and recorded by Imam Ahmad.
