What is required of a woman upon the cessation of menstruation?

Washing (*ghusl*) is obligatory upon the cessation of menstruation, based on the Prophet's command: “Remain [away from intimacy] for the time your menstruation used to hold you back, then perform Ghusl and pray,” which is agreed upon by consensus.
