Ritual washing (*ghusl*) is obligatory upon a woman if she sees what a man sees in his dream (i.e., seminal emission). This is established based on the narration of Umm Sulaym, who questioned the Prophet, peace be upon him, regarding this matter, and he confirmed that if she sees that (ejaculates), she must perform *ghusl*.
