If the bleeding resumes during prayer after she had performed ablution during a cessation period long enough to accommodate purification and prayer, her purification is voided because, during that pause, she was deemed momentarily pure, and the return of the blood acts as a subsequent impurity. If the cessation period was too brief to allow for purification and prayer, the resumption of the flow has no effect because she remains in the state of Istihada.
