Book of Purification
Primary text
The hair of any animal shares the same legal ruling regarding purity as the rest of its parts. If the animal itself is pure (tahir), its hair is pure. If the animal is impure (najas), its hair is likewise impure. This ruling applies equally whether the animal is alive or dead.
