Primary text

If a person in a state of minor ritual impurity (*Haddath*) needs to touch the Mus'haf due to the absence of water, they must perform Tayammum, after which touching becomes permissible.

Supporting text

If a person washes only some parts of the ablution (Wudu), they are not permitted to touch the Mus'haf with the washed parts before completing the entire ablution, as they are not considered purified until all parts are washed.
