The earnings obtained from performing prohibited acts, such as connecting hair or similar modifications, are disliked or considered ill-gotten. This is evidenced when a woman who offered hair services asked Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal if she could perform Hajj with her earnings, and he replied in the negative, advising her to seek income from purer sources.
