If the glans is severed and the remaining part of the penis is inserted, and the inserted part is equal in size to the original glans, Ghusl becomes obligatory. Furthermore, all legal consequences of sexual intercourse, such as the establishment of the full dower (Mahr), become attached to this act.

If the remaining inserted part is less in size than the original glans, no such obligations (Ghusl or dower consequences) are incurred.
