What is the ruling on the residual drink of humans (Adamiyy)?

Humans are pure, and their residual drink is pure, whether Muslim or non-Muslim, according to the majority of scholars. This is supported by the Prophet's statement, 'The believer does not become impure,' and the actions of the Prophet with Aisha, where he drank from the same spot she had drunk from and placed his mouth where she had spat, even while menstruating. This indicates purity.
