What is the ruling on the time limit for wiping over socks for a traveler performing a journey of disobedience?
Chapter on Wiping over the Khuffayn (Leather Socks)

Primary text
If a person travels for the purpose of disobedience, the concession of wiping over socks is restricted to a maximum period of one day and one night. This limitation is imposed because the duration of one day and one night is not exclusive to travel, nor is it considered one of the specific concessions of travel, thus resembling actions that are not concessions. This is distinguished from the time limit exceeding one day and one night, as that excess period is a specific concession granted for travel, which is not permitted by undertaking a journey of disobedience, similar to the permissibility of shortening (*qasr*) and combining (*jam'*) prayers during sinful travel.
