Does seeing an illusion of water (mirage) invalidate prior Tayammum?

If a person performs Tayammum and then sees a mirage (*sarab*) which they mistake for water, the Tayammum becomes void. This ruling is based on the obligation to seek water upon perceiving a sign thereof.
