Primary text
Shaving the nape of the neck without having shaved the head or having a necessity for it is disliked (*yukrah*). This practice is considered the action of the Magians (Zoroastrians), and whoever imitates a people belongs to them. However, shaving the nape during cupping therapy (*al-hijamah*) is permissible.
