Is the sweat of a menstruating woman (Ha'id) considered ritually pure?
Chapter on What Necessitates Ghusl
Al-Mughni
Book of Purification
Primary text
The sweat of a menstruating woman is pure. This is supported by the statement of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) and aligns with the opinion of Malik, Al-Shafi'i, and the Companions of the Opinion. The general principle is that the body remains pure despite ritual impurity, as confirmed by the Prophet's (peace be upon him) actions, such as his wife cleaning his head while menstruating and drinking from her leftover water.
