Touching the male organ with the palm of the hand nullifies Wudu, according to Ahmad, 'Ata', and Al-Awza'i. The evidence is the Prophet's saying: "If any of you reaches his hand to his private part without a covering between them, he should perform Wudu," which includes the back of the hand as part of the hand to which rulings are attached.

Malik, Al-Layth, Al-Shafi'i, and Ishaq maintain that only touching with the inner part of the palm nullifies Wudu, as the back of the hand is not considered a primary instrument of touch, resembling touching it with one's thigh.
