Where should the washing of the feet be performed during the Ghusl?

There are differing views reported from Imam Ahmad regarding the timing of washing the feet. One narration prefers washing them after Wudu, based on the Hadith of Maymuna. Another narration favors the action in the Hadith of Aisha, where the Prophet performed Wudu before the Ghusl. A third position from Imam Ahmad states that washing the feet either before, during, or after the rest of the washing is equal, suggesting the location is not strictly intended, but the mere completion of the washing is the objective.
