If water is searched for before the prescribed time, the search must be repeated after the time enters. This is because the initial search occurred before the obligation to perform Tayammum was formally addressed, thus not fulfilling the requirement.

If the search is conducted after the prayer time has entered, but Tayammum is not performed immediately following the search, it is permissible to perform Tayammum later without needing to repeat the search.
