Primary text
Water used by a person in a state of Janaabah for minor ablution (Wudu) is not rendered ritually impure, provided their bodies were not carrying external impurities. The Prophet (peace be upon him) stated regarding water into which a menstruating woman dipped her hand, 'The water does not become impure.'
