Primary text

Wiping over leather socks is permissible for the woman experiencing continuous bleeding, the person with urinary incontinence, and similar cases, provided they perform their ritual purification and then wear the socks. This opinion is explicitly stated by Ahmad ibn Hanbal because their state of purification is considered complete and sufficient for their specific condition. Ibn Aqil further explains that they are necessitated to utilize the concession (*rukhsah*), and the one in necessity has the greatest right to such a concession.

Supporting text

If the bleeding ceases for the *Mustahadah* or the necessity ends for the incontinent person, the purification is void from its origin, and the concession of wiping over the socks is nullified, similar to the case of the person in dry ablution who subsequently finds water.
