Is wiping over pitch placed on a foot wound permissible?
Chapter on Tayammum

Primary text
If pitch (qir) is placed upon a split in the foot, Ahmad is of the opinion that the pitch must be removed and wiping over it is not permitted. Ahmad justifies this ruling based on the perceived ease and minimal harm associated with pitch, stating it is less concerning. This implies that wiping over an injury is permissible when one fears increased pain or severity from removing the dressing.
