Is determining precedence or right to compete by aiming at a target permissible?

Primary text
It is not permissible to decide precedence by aiming at a target, such as stating, 'we will shoot, and whoever hits the target establishes precedence over the other.' This is invalid because aiming and hitting constitutes consideration ('iwad) within a contract, and entitlement to consideration cannot be established merely by achieving a target or by drawing lots.
