Primary text
If one party requests a standing position that is preferable, such as avoiding the sun or a bothersome wind, while the other requests the opposite (the sun or wind at one's back), the opinion of the one requesting to avoid the discomfort is prioritized, as this aligns with custom ('Urf). If their prior agreement stipulated facing the discomfort, then the condition takes precedence, similar to rulings concerning night time stoning (Ramy).
