Primary text

It is permissible if they stipulate that one person shoots a volley (rashq) and then the other shoots, or if one person stipulates a specific number of shots and then the other shoots the same number. This is permissible because it does not affect the intended purpose of the practice, even if it deviates from what the unrestricted agreement implies, similar to stipulating specific currencies, options, or delays in a sale contract, provided it does not impede the main objective.

Supporting text

If they stipulate shooting many volleys, it is permissible, as permission for a small number implies permission for a larger number, but the quantity must be known.
